The Month of the Heart of Winter

the new leaf of January is my Month!

sundate no.1

Because I’m abusively using the word “sundate” on this blog might as well do a series of its own…this is not really the first of the many sundates by the way. 🙂

We’ve planned that will start our day early on by having breakfast at a coffee shop but we failed and stuck in bed until 9am.

We’ve planned to have brunch at a hole-in-the-wall “bulalohan-tapsihan” in West Rembo only to find out that the store had ceased operation since we don’t know when. Argh!

We moved to Poblacion, Makati and try our luck at this another hole-in-the-wall resto that is famed by renowned bloggers, we’re so excited to dine upon getting there but we’re stopped and disgusted on its neighboring salon after shooing us away and forbidding us to park in front of their shop. I wish their operation would close down soon. Grrr!

We’ve tried our luck in Estrella St., I was salivating to eat bagnet but maybe it wasn’t really our lucky day, we just have to accept it as is. The store is closed. 😦

Now, we’re both famished and irritated so guess where we landed and cool off?

Yes, at the mall, the mall never fails me yet tho with the plentiful of choices I sometimes find it so hard to decide. I had second thoughts –Korean or Greek, the former won.

Our filling lunch at Kim N’ Chi.

And sweet fix at Starbucks 6750, my favorite branch forever!

sundate no.1-3

Wait, I didn’t let the chance passed this time, I got myself take back home from Family Mart. The newest convenience store in the block that is Japanese and fresh and cheap. I’m visiting again and hang out there.

So that was our sundate all about, how was yours?
