The Month of the Heart of Winter

the new leaf of January is my Month!

Ma Chicken Mami House

Concurrent with our visit at Debenhams in Trinoma yesterday, we take the same time to pay Ma Chicken Mami House a visit to claim the GCs I won on their Facebook page last May. It’s long overdue nevertheless I am thankful to the people behind this eatery. 🙂

Only that when we tried to use the GC it doesn’t work at this branch because of their POS machine limitation on GC transactions. If not for the heavy rains and hungry tummies we could have stepped out right away but the weather was so inviting and the thought of a steaming hot soup is all that I have in mind.

It was a surprise for us that the place is literally packed of customers so we easily conclude that the food must be good.

There weren’t too many to choose from but despite its limitation we have decided easily of our orders.

Ma’s Special Pork Siomai P30 each, it’s big and tasty!

Ma’s Kikiam Special Rice Topping P99, it isn’t your ordinary kikiam sold in carts, it tasted like more of my favorite Chinese chorizo.

Ma’s Binondo Mami (Large) P148, hands down to this bowl of noodles with wonton, chicken, pork, egg and veggies. The soup is flavorful and remained hot until you finish the bowl. Ma uses my favorite Shanghai flat noodles on it. It’s the perfect comfort food during the heavy downpour.

Ma Chicken Mami House belongs to the proud group of restaurants owned by the Soon brothers which includes North Park and Kopi Tiam. And with the GCs I still on hand we would definitely be visiting another branch of Ma anytime soon.
