Months before December I shortlisted the places I wanted to visit during the holiday rush and considering the city would be too crowded with shoppers I ditched the idea of driving around Metro Manila.
December 10, we had our first shopping weekend at Pavilion Mall in Binan, Laguna. Finally, I was able to buy the kids clothes at Guess Outlet and I was able to get a top for me for P799 only. 🙂
Next stop that day was Paseo de Sta. Rosa and Solenad; I shopped some make up gift sets from Debenhams for the young ladies. I also scored discounted kid’s clothes at Mothercare. Bought Nanay a new havie and Leoncio a new pair of Nike shoesee. Swear! I did not get anything for myself at this point.
December 17, we choose to drive North for our second shopping weekend. We hoard imported goodies from Clark Duty Free shops mostly gift items for family and friends. I told you I would go a mile this year to find the best gift for everyone dear. 🙂
That day we ended our shopping spree at Marquee Mall, another haven for thrift shoppers like me. I bought sister’s gift too, which is the same piece as mine from Mango outlet! 😀
We arrive Cavite before daybreak of Sunday and despite my Tatay’s annoyance of our coming very very early, oh I mean behind time we were able to appease him –it’s the whole traffic thing which is pretty normal during t’is season, hehehe.
A day more to go and I’m down with my gifts however, I need to delay my Christmas gift to Nanay until the 1st week of January –Gourdo’s will be on sale by then. 🙂
