The Month of the Heart of Winter

the new leaf of January is my Month!

old Paco Railroad Station

On our way to Paco last Sunday, passing Quirino Avenue I was surprised when husband started talking about this old railroad station. I asked him where? He pointed out this structure (on my right), almost torn down yet you see traces of the olden times. I instantly snap a shot to remember that this one needs a space on this blog. I am no historian, not even a member of any movement that focus on restoration however, I have passion for something old, tradition and historical. And during my travels it’s a must for me to see one every now and then. So, it came a surprise to me that husband had taken account on Manila’s historical landmarks like this.

I hope our government will look into the restoration of this railroad station. I hope they will not allow commercialism to pierce this place. No to demolition of Paco Railroad Station!
