During our last trip to the Northern region I missed to bring home Marsha’s delicacies because it was a little distant to my husband’s hometown. Unlike the previous years, we have plenty of time to drive all the way to Candon City or Vigan. So, pasalubong this time is just so so ( I thought of it initially :)) because I only grab it at a Shell gas station in Tarlac just before we make an entry at SCTEX.
Honey and Daisy’s Pastries is very new to me. What made me consider this? The lovely box, I always consider the packaging and presentation, I bet you also do.
And finding Marzipan was unexpected, I am a big fan of this sweets. Since when? I don’t exactly remember but husband and I used to buy pieces of this at Rustan’s Supermarket.
Marzipan is defined as almond paste: a sweet paste made of ground almonds and sugar, often with egg whites or yolks, used as a layer in cakes or molded into ornamental shapes.
I googled and this is the only details I got for Honey and Daisy’s Pastries. Will check it soon, I might be visiting Pampanga few months from now 🙂
For now “taste the sweetness of life…”
